An analysis of Facebook’s privacy practices through the lens of compliance, integrity, and excellence. At an Irish Institute of Digital Business seminar, I analyzed Facebook’s legal compliance, operational integrity, and stakeholder balance, revealing significant shortcomings. The Yandex Study Case. Presenting an ethical dilemma: Yandex, often referred to as the Russian Google, operates as an internet media portal, a music streaming app, and a platform for ride-hailing, taxi services, food delivery, and touchless payment technology, catering to millions of users in Russia. However, the company finds itself in a challenging situation as it faces a decision between “plata” (payment) or “plomo” (lead).
